Support For DigiLearn ICT Learning Initiative

• The Bahamas Mortgage Corporation (BMC) recently demonstrated its support for the Digilearn ICT Learning Initiative, which is scheduled to be officially launched by the Minister of Education, the Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin, on September 25, 2025. 
• The Corporation’s Executive Chair, Ms. Barbara Cartwright, and Managing Director, Mr. Robert Cox, joined members of staff in a targeted registration drive promoting access to free courses, webinars, and certification programmes offered through the University of The Bahamas and the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI). 
• The Digilearn ICT Learning Initiative is led by the Digital Transformation Unit within the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and aims to enhance digital skills and workforce readiness across The Bahamas. 
• Classes commenced on September 1, 2025.
